Stowarzyszenie Arci powstało we Florencji w 1957 roku, z myślą o solidarności i walce z faszyzmem. Od 60 lat jej członkowie promują we Włoszech takie wartości jak sprawiedliwość społeczna, wolność i solidarność. Stowarzyszenie udziela informacji organizując szkolenia dotyczące historii mafii, walk partyzanckich w kraju oraz wartości promowanych przez włoską konstytucję. Prezes Arci, Francesca Chiavacci, świętowała urodziny w Palazzo Montecitorio, gdzie wygłosiła specjalną mowę, w której odtworzyła historię Arci i podziękowała każdemu, kto przez lata przyczynił się do sukcesu stowarzyszenia.
