Według raportu opublikowanego we wtorek przez dwie agencje, Interpol i Europol, w 2015 r. przemytnicy zarobili na migrantach ponad 5 mld dolarów. Migracje do krajów UE są "głównie obsługiwane przez członków sieci przestępczych", mówi raport. Migranci płacili 3 200 - 6 500 dolarów. Obie agencje spodziewają się, że w bieżącym roku większa liczba migrantów będzie próbowała dostać się do Europy niż w roku ubiegłym, a odsetek tych, którzy będą korzystać z usług przemytników wzrośnie do 90%.
