Organizacja Iustitia pomagająca ofiarom przestępstw z nienawiści, zarejestrowała 86 przypadków przemocy w Czechach w 2014 r. Przyczyną jest głównie narodowość, etniczność lub religia. Coraz więcej sprawców ataków to tzw. "zwykli obywatele", którzy nie należą do grup ekstremistycznych. Wzrost islamofobii jest najbardziej charakterystycznym trendem. "Najbardziej narażeni - w kategorii zarejestrowanych przypadków - są osoby pochodzenia romskiego i muzułmanie", można przeczytać w raporcie. Najczęstsze są ataki werbalne, ale co trzeci przypadek to atak fizyczny.
