The EU is violating human rights and international law in its attempts to slow refugees from crossing the Mediterranean Sea, a new report says. The report, from US-based Refugees International, warns that the EU’s push to prevent boats leaving the Libyan coast – migrants' main departure point for Europe – is leading to horrific rights violations.
