The Initiative "United against Fascism" held a demonstration on March 2 in Zagreb's main square against a radical nationalist party that is trying to promote figures from Croatia's fascist years (1941-1945), as patriotic. This ad hoc nationalist party has received much media attention for its public condemnation of other religions and nations, yet the government remains unconcerned. Nowadays, anti-Semitic pamphlets and accusations against whole nations are published without legal punishment, and the same is true for the promotion of the Ustaše and hate speech in general.
