STRIVE2026 Grants: Q&A

Questions and Answers for STRIVE2026 grants applicants

by LibertiesEU

1. What time is the deadline on the 8th of May?

The deadline is at 12 pm (Midnight).

2. Is it possible to use the grant to fund a project that has started before the First of June?

No, the grants are only meant for projects starting from the 1st of June 2026.

3. Can non-members/ potential members apply for this call?

No, the call is open to members of the Liberties Network.

4. Are those organisations that received the grant in previous years eligible?

Yes, they are.

5. Is co-funding needed for the 2026 projects?

No, there are no co-funding requirements for 2026 projects.

6. Are psychosocial support activities eligible if framed as consultations, empowerment sessions, or needs assessments/group support meetings with vulnerable individuals and groups?

Yes, psychosocial support activities may be considered eligible if framed as consultations, empowerment sessions, needs assessments, or group support meetings.

As long as they are clearly embedded within the overall logic of the proposal and aligned with the priorities of the call.

7. Is it possible to include social vouchers (gift cards for stores for food, medicine, and clothes) for vulnerable participants in project activities, particularly where these help facilitate participation in such activities?

Yes, social vouchers (e.g. small-value gift cards for food, medicine, or clothing) may also be included in principle.

Such costs need to be clearly described, justified, and detailed in the full proposal, including their purpose, target groups, and modalities of use, as part of the project’s activities.

8. We are considering continuing this year's project with some amendments and improvements. Would applying with the same project for a second year make sense, or would a new set of activities have a better chance?

Organisations should clearly demonstrate the relevance and need for such activities and how they are connected to the call. Building on previous efforts should clearly be stated in the proposal.

We would not have any preference; both these options are eligible for proposals.
