Media organs all across Hungary are joining the protest against the advertisement tax proposal put forward by the Hungarian government. Over 60 media outlets have joined the cause, showing solidarity against what they see as another attack against Hungarian media freedom by the government of Viktor Orbán. At 19:15 CET, television stations will suspend their broadcasts, radios will read out the statement of the protest, print media will publish white cover pages and online media will turn black. If you support our cause, change your profile image to black.
