7 października w Józsefváros, ósmej dzielnicy Budapesztu - oprócz istniejących już 115 kamer - zainstalowanych zostało kolejnych 65. Dzięki tej wartej około milion euro inwestycji dzielnica ta jest w pełni monitorowana, a kamery będą mogły być połączone z systemem rozpoznawania twarzy. Węgierski Związek Swobód Obywatelskich sprawdził, jakie wyzwania stawia ten nowy sprzęt, kwestionując jego skuteczność i potencjalną szkodliwość dla społeczeństwa.
