The UN working group on the issue of discrimination against women in law and in practice has recently released to the UN Human Rights Council the report of its visit to Spain in 2014. The experts were able to verify major backward steps since the beginning of the crisis, and they reveal many gaps, such as the lack of resources to fight against discrimination of women and gender violence, the added vulnerability of migrant women and the lack of implementation of the decisions taken by the international institutions on key cases.
