A coalition of organizations conducting the Civic Monitoring of Candidates for Judges of the Constitutional Tribunal has issued a statement on the nomination, during the Sejm’s session on February 24, of Dr. Grzegorz Jędrejek as a judge on the Constitutional Tribunal. In their statement, the organizations emphasize that Dr. Jęderejk’s nomination was made only a few days after the end of the period for submitting candidates. Moreover, the session of the Sejm Committee for Justice and Human Rights offered no opportunity to talk to the candidate or ask him questions.
