by LibertiesEU

On 17 March 2021, the European Commission presented a proposal for a Digital Green Certificate. Their concept of the so-called Digital Green Certificate, or Digital Green Pass, raises a number of concerns regarding compliance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights. Our policy brief sets out six concerns, and recommendations for amending the proposal to address these concerns.

The brief is endorsed by our following members:

  • Bulgarian Helsinki Committee
  • Netherlands Committee of Jurists for Human Rights
  • Human Rights Monitoring Institute (Lithuania)
  • Hungarian Civil Liberties Union
  • League of Human Rights (Czech Republic)
  • Peace Institute (Slovenia)
  • Rights International Spain
