Some former and current members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) were engaged "in activity of a corruptive nature" related to Azerbaijan, an independent body’s investigation has concluded. The report is based on 10 months of research looking into the conduct of members of the PACE assembly, a European human rights body consisting of MPs from 47 European and Central Asian countries. According to the report there is "strong suspicion" that the assembly's former president, Pedro Agramunt, was "party to activity of a corruptive nature."
