'How I became a non-human' is an episode of the TV program Polosero (Twilight) about the deprivation of human rights. It portrays the life stories of clients of Liberties member the League of Human Rights. The Czech Republic is struggling with imperfect legislation that allows abuse of the loss of legal capacity principle. This has roots in the totalitarian regime era, closely related to the abuse of psychiatric treatment. Although a new amendment to the Civil Code is fairly modern and allows new guardianship possibilities, legal practitioners still don't know how to handle the situation.
