I giudici della Corte di Giustizia Europea stanno esaminando un caso che potrebbe avere ampie ripercussioni sui cittadini europei che chiedono passaporto britannico. Il tribunale dovrà decidere se il governo britannico ha violato i diritti familiari di una cittadina britannico-spagnola che chiedeva che il marito algerino potesse vivere con lei nel Regno Unito. In base a quello che decideranno i giudici, la sentenza potrebbe significare che i cittadini europei che acquisiscono cittadinanza britannica e mantengono la doppia nazionalità non potrebbero portare i loro familiari nel Regno Unito.
