I partiti di estrema destra VMRO-BND, NFSB e Attack hanno inscenato una protesta per chiedere la chiusura di tutti i campi per rifugiati in Bulgaria e il rimpatrio dei loro residenti in Turchia. Alla protesta ha partecipato il parlamentare europeo Angel Dzhambazki, un politico bulgaro attualmente membro del Parlamento Europeo. L'evento è stato sostenuto dal Partito Socialista Bulgaro e frequentato da varie centinaia di persone che cantavano "Dovremmo combattere per la nostra gente" e "Via gli stranieri."
