"We Are Not an Exception" is a campaign displaying positive images and examples among the Roma in Bulgaria. It depicts successful young Roma who strive to fulfill their dreams in work and study and seeks to counter the idea in Bulgarian society that these people are exceptions. The campaign has been initiated by 10 health mediators who want to show the hurt that is caused by people's negative views on Roma.
It is part of the project ROMA MATRIX, standing for Mutual Action Targeting Racism, Intolerance and Xenophobia.
