The vineyard managed by the detainees.

The 6th episode of “Prisons of Italy” takes us to the last Italian island prison: Gorgona. The island's inhabitants are almost all detainees and law enforcement officials. This prison operates a model of rehabilitation that favors reintegration into society for the detainees. In fact, they are encouraged to work the land and manage the prison farm. Thanks to this model, their knowledge is enhanced and can be used when they leave prison. The documentary was filmed by Andrea Oleandri from Antigone and Andrea Gualtieri from Repubblica and edited by Paolo Saracino.
