The 19 Million Project officially kicked off on Monday, November 2. The amazing initiative - born by a collaborative effort between Chicas Poderosas and the Italian Coalition for Civil Rights and Freedoms (CILD) - aims to invent a new narrative for the refugee crisis by putting together some of the brightest media professionals and human rights activists. It will run for two weeks as a hackathon-cum-educational summit and culminate on November 13 at the CILD Human Rights Awards ceremony.
