Another Twitter user has been sentenced in Spain for glorifying terrorism and humiliating the victims. The court took into account the repentance of the accused, who never posted any similar message again, as well as the scarce impact it had, since he only had 393 followers. However, this is not sufficient to exempt him from his criminal responsibility for the content of his comments: praising ETA and dishonoring and humiliating the victims, is not protected by freedom of expression. He was sentenced to up to six months in prison.
