The Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam accidentally leaked data belonging to a group of patients. It concerned the email addresses of 46 children who were treated at Sophia Children's Hospital and their parents. The EMC called the leaking of the email addresses a stupid mistake, but emphasized that the data only ended up with fellow patients from within that same group. To prevent the mistake from happening again, the next newsletter will no longer be sent by email, but instead be posted on a website, where interested parties can download it themselves.
