On the night of June 12, residents of Rome remembered the victims of the Orlando gay nightclub shooting with a candlelight vigil in front of the Colosseum. The remembrance ceremony was held to commemorate the victims of the mass shooting in the U.S. state of Florida. Similar events ceremonies were held in Milan and Naples yesterday, June 13. The governor of the Lazio region, Nicola Zingaretti, took to Twitter to express his sorrow for the victims of a “tragedy that affects everyone." CILD has organized a gathering in front of the American embassy on Wednesday, June 15.
