Poland's minister of justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, who is also the country's prosecutor general, has issued an official statement regarding the judgment of the Regional Court of Łódż against a printer, ordering him to pay compensation of 50 euros in a case. The printer, citing his personal beliefs, refused to do business for a foundation that deals with LGBTI rights. According to the minister's statement, the judgment is "a dangerous precedent" that "destroys the freedom of thoughts, opinions and beliefs." This view has been criticized by the HFHR and others as an attempt to pressure on the court.
