New legislation in the Czech Republic guarantees the right of persons accompanied by an assistance dog to enter public areas and public transport without any special fees for the dog. Having and using assistance dogs should not be a disadvantage in access to housing and employment either. In general, a person accompanied by a specially trained dog should have the same rights and treatment as those without disabilities and a dog.
