The young Italian filmmaker Alessandro Marinelli, who in 2014 won the prestigious Ilaria Alpi award for best documentary, has made a film on Atletico Diritti, the football team made up of migrants and former prisoners created by the NGOs Progetto Diritti and Antigone, with the support of the University of Roma Tre. The documentary, "Frammenti di libertà" (Fragments of Freedom), was filmed over the course of the 2014-15 season and follows the people involved in Atletico Diritti. The film will be presented to the public this fall.
