The Dutch lower house of Parliament has asked the government to adjust the law so that police officers from now on may be filmed only if they are unrecognizable. Currently, you are allowed to film or photograph officers on public roads and publish these images without blurring their faces, provided that no protest is filed afterwards. The Labor Party, the Liberals and the Socialist Party agree that officers are harmed by the publishing of images made while they are working.
