The "Sexist Piggy" is an annual competition for the most sexist advertising. It focuses mainly on advertisements in public space. The contest, organized by Czech NGO Nesehnutí, is based on nominations from the public, and people may vote for the winner (a professional jury has a vote, too). The aim is not to condemn advertisers but to make them understand that sexist advertising has serious implications, such as for the self-esteem of young people, and can lead to eating disorders or tolerance of violence against women. All nominated ads can be seen here.
