Barefoot men and women across Italy staged on September 11 a show of solidarity with migrants and refugees attempting to enter Europe. Just a few days have passed, and yet it is already time to take off your shoes once again and join the protest against Hungary's new anti-migrant laws, which make border crossing illegal and provide for the immediate and forceful expulsion of those who attempt to do so (read more here and here). Barefooted sit-ins will be held on September 21 at 18:00 outside the Hungarian Embassy in Rome, as well as in front of other consulates in Italy.
