Organizations advocating for civil rights in Italy are taking action against the new Security Decree. On matters of public decency, the decree goes against any principle of social solidarity and recognition of citizens’ equality. Nine organizations including Antigone found the decree unacceptable and united forces to appeal for the rejection of the decree, in consideration of the risks and dangers that it could bring by increasing control and criminalizing marginalized people.
