Marco Cappato.

Marco Cappato, an Italian activist for the freedom of scientific research and the introduction of euthanasia, will go on trial for bringing Dj Fabo, blind and tetraplegic, to Switzerland, to undergo a medical-assisted suicide, a practice forbidden in Italy. Cappato has been accused of having facilitated Fabo's suicide, and even for having strenghtened Fabo's will to go through with the suicide. Cappato is ready to take responsibility for his actions and to challenge the law that he's been judged upon, which dates back to 1930. He hopes that his trial will help bring about a new law.
