Following the release of a damning report by the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, the Belgium League of Human Rights urges the Belgian state and trade unions to resume their discussions on the establishment of a service which ensures fundamental rights for detainees while respecting the right to strike of prison staff.
