Bad news at the Sollicciano Prison in Florence: a 34-year-old transsexual inmate committed suicide on July 15. This is the second suicide case in the last month in this prison. The young woman was almost at the end of her prison sentence. A few days prior to her suicide, she had asked to be moved in a "transit section," perhaps because of problems with other inmates.
