The fourth episode of the documentary “Prisons of Italy” takes us inside the Muslim part of Italian prisons. In some prisons, authorized Imams can enter to lead the Friday prayer; where there are no Imams available, the most experienced prisoners lead the service. Prisoners accused of terrorism are detained in the Sassari high security section, isolated from the other detainees. The personnel encounter some difficulties, as there are no translators who speak Arabic. The filming was done by Andrea Oleandri from Antigone and Andrea Gualtieri from Repubblica, with editing by Paolo Saracino.
