"On behalf of France, I always support the freedom of expression." This is what French President François Hollande said when talking about the case of Erri De Luca, a famous Italian writer currently on trial for an interview he gave in which he said that the high speed train line being built between Turin and Lyon should be sabotaged. President Hollande was asked about the De Luca case while he was visiting the Paris Book Fair. A few weeks ago, the Italian association Antigone presented Mr. De Luca's recent book, in which he defends himself.
