Voters will answer the following question on April 6: "Are you for or against the law on the approval of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine?" The definition of the referendum question is a sensitive issue. Experts say voters may be influenced by the way the question has been formulated. To stimulate the debate on the referendum, two million euros of subsidies has been made available. The initiator of the referendum, GeenPeil, submitted 427,939 valid signatures. The outcome of the referendum will only be valid with a voter turnout of 30 percent.
