The parliamentary groups CDU/CSU, Grüne, SPD and Die Linke have requested a second commission of inquiry in order to clarify the crimes of the right-wing terror group NSU (National Socialist Underground). Set to start in December, this time the investigation also aims to elucidate unanswered questions by getting undercover operatives to testify. The MPs point out parallels between the origins of the NSU and the radicalization of the "Pegida" movement. The main goal is to adamantly fight against extremism and xenophobia to avoid similar crimes, the parliamentarians declared.
