The Office of the Public Prosecutor has demanded a fine of 5,000 euros for politician Geert Wilders for his statement that he would ensure "fewer Moroccans" in the Netherlands. Prosecutor Wouter Bos says that Wilders knew that this and similar statements were insulting. The specific quote in question dates to March 12, 2014, when Wilders asked a full room of Party for Freedom supporters after the elections: "Do you want fewer or more Moroccans in this city and in the Netherlands?" The audience then responded with chants of "fewer, fewer," to which Wilders replied, "Then we will arrange that."
