A photo appeared on the Facebook group Nastavnici.org of a page from the English language workbook for the second year of primary school for Croatian schoolchildren, which includes a task in which the student is required to determine, on the basis of physical appearance, which little girl is beautiful, and which is ugly. In fact, one of the painted girls is flap-eared, with a large nose and short, messy hair, and she is also sad, while the other has blond hair, a small nose, and a bright mood. The disputed workbook was approved by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
