Rights International Spain and the Open Society Justice Initiative organized a seminar for lawyers on April 1-2 to assess the use of strategic litigation to confront different obstacles to the exercise of the right to peaceful protest in Spain. There were also international participants from the European Human Rights Advocacy Center, the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, who attended the seminar and shared their experiences to see how cases can be focused in order to try and achieve some positive change in this area.
