World Refugee Day was on June 20. In recent months, however, the question of refugees in Europe has caused many in the Czech Republic to panic. Horrific scenarios of Europe's demise are often cited, while the human lives lost are changed by the public discourse into dehumanized statistics. A view that solidarity cannot be enforced resonates strongly within the public debate. The "No to racism!" initiative launched a Facebook campaign that invites users to express support. Photos with messages such as "Solidarity with Refugees" and #prijimam ("I do accept") signs are being shared.
