The German Green Party has submitted a detailed draft law to the German Bundestag to legalize cannabis for adults. The draft law is highly controversial and was discussed for the first time in the German Bundestag last month. The government’s drug commissioner, a member of the ruling Christian Democratic Union party, is against the legalization of cannabis. Special committees will now study and debate the draft law.
