Bulgaria is currently ranked 113th out of 180 countries in the latest Reporters Without Borders report on media freedom. The country has the most unfree media among all EU members and is placed seven positions lower than last year. According to Reporters Without Borders, the media environment in Bulgaria is dominated by corruption and clashes between politicians and oligarchs.
