Following the appeals lodged by the National Coordination for Peace and Democracy and the League of Human Rights, the Council of State canceled arms exports licenses to Saudi Arabia

The Belgium Council of State has decided to cancel arms export licenses to Saudi Arabia. This move comes as a result of appeals lodged by the National Coordination for Peace and Democracy and the League of Human Rights (LDH), and also partly because no careful examination on the state of human rights in Saudi Arabia was carried out.
