The access to social benefits still represents one of the
most sensitive issue in the field of migration. Now, a new handbook available online, edited by
Alberto Guariso, in charge of the anti-discrimination service at ASGI
association (which deals with immigration policy), provides an in-depth
analysis on the national and European existing legislation with regard to the foreigners'
access to social benefits. The last part is dedicated to a brief overview of
the single measures and their respective access criteria.
