Aleś Bialacki, a Belarusian human rights defender and recently released political prisoner, is coming to Poland this week. In 2001, Aleś Bialacki was arrested by Belarusian police on information provided by the Polish Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Justice of Lithuania. From the moment he was arrested, Polish NGOs began a struggle for his liberation. A meeting with Aleś Bialacki will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 10 a.m. at the Batory Foundation in Warsaw (10 Sapieżyńska st).
