Thirty-four migrants have been rescued off the Spanish coast after their boat caught fire. Rescuers responded with life vests and boats, and the migrants were taken to a nearby port town in southern Spain. According to the United Nations, more than 1,300 have died or gone missing so far this year attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.
