On the International Day of Human Rights several dozen young people gathered in Bucharest in front of a police station where many citizens have been reportedly abused in recent years. One of the abused died in the spring and earlier last month those policemen abused a journalist who was filming them brutalizing a young man on the streets of the Romanian capital. The message of the demonstrators was clear: STOP THE VIOLENCE! The commander of the police station reassured them that the policemen in question were being investigated.
