A clinic in a major Lithuanian city has taken the Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson to court in response to it finding the clinic to not be properly accessible to people of limited mobility. However, the judges dismissed the lawsuit, stating that the limited accessibility meant that a person of limited mobility was worse off than other people. The court also stressed that the clinic‘s lack of action on the issue of accessibility could not excused by its lack of funds.
