Ireland's human rights body has expressed concern in reaction to reported cases of women having difficulty accessing abortions. Doctors have reported difficulties in accessing abortion care for patients because of delays in establishing services at hospitals. In his reaction, Irish Health minister Simon Harris warned it would take time for the services to "fully embed". Chief commissioner of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission, Emily Logan said as a commission, they have a mandate to keep policy and legislation under review.
