Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) has announced the launch of a series that is specially adapted for the visually impaired. This is the first project in Lithuania with a special soundtrack for the blind and partially sighted. For example, quiet parts of the programme will be accompanied by audio commentary to help viewers follow the plot. LRT will also be increasing the number of subtitled shows to widen accessibility for people with hearing impairments.
