Society for Civil Rights

The GFF (Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte / Society for Civil Rights) is a Berlin-based not-for-profit-NGO founded in 2015.

Its goal is to establish a sustainable structure for successful Strategic Litigation for Human and Civil Rights (HCR) in Germany, bringing together plaintiffs with excellent litigators in order to challenge infringements of HCR in court. GFF’s initial cases focus on protecting privacy, freedom of information and freedom of the press against state intrusion, and on defending equal freedom for all.
